Live Wait Times for Disney World, Disneyland & Universal, Plus Ride POVs and Reopening Alerts⏱️

If you’ve ever stood at the entrance of a park wondering whether it’s worth hiking all the way to Fantasyland just to find a 60-minute line, this one’s for you. Our live wait times page is here, with ride status badges, Lightning Lane return windows, the full entertainment lineup, and enough behind-the-scenes tracking to eventually tell you exactly how “it’s a small world” a wait really is.

What it does

The page pulls live wait times for Walt Disney World, Disneyland Resort, Universal Orlando (Epic Universe included), Universal Studios Hollywood, and Knott’s Berry Farm, refreshing every single minute so what you see is actually current, not “this-morning current.” Each park also shows today’s operating hours right at the top, so you know how much daylight you’ve got left before your feet start complaining.

Every ride card shows its current wait time when it’s up and running (or a plain “Open” if there’s no posted number yet). If it’s not running, a clear Down or Refurbishment label takes its place, so you’re never left guessing whether it’s a five-minute hiccup or a “see you next season” situation. Rides offering Lightning Lane show their current return window too, right next to the wait.

Scroll a little further and you’ll find today’s full entertainment schedule: parades, fireworks, character meet-and-greets, and stage shows, every single showtime included. Consider it your own personal Tam Tam Drummers early-warning system.

Watch it before you ride it

Here’s the part we’re most excited about: every ride we’ve filmed has a ▶ Watch POV button right on its card. Not sure if you actually want to brave it today? Tap it and watch the real ride-through before you commit to the walk. No more getting to the front of the line and suddenly having second thoughts about that drop.

When a ride goes down (it happens to the best of us)

Rides close for maintenance more than anyone likes to admit. Even Mr. Lincoln needs a day off sometimes. When one does, the page shows how long it’s been down so far, plus (once we’ve tracked enough closures) how long it’s typically down for. Tap Notify me when it reopens and we’ll email you the moment it’s back, so you’re not the one refreshing like it’s a Lightning Lane drop.

Reopening alerts need a free Attractions POV account. It only takes a minute to sign up.

That button works on Refurbishment closures too, not just quick breakdowns, so if a favorite’s out for the long haul, you’ll still get the heads-up the moment it’s back.

Speaking of that “typically down” number: it’s still filling in behind the scenes. Each ride needs a solid number of tracked closures logged before we’ll show you a reliable figure, so don’t be surprised if some don’t have one yet. Good things (and honest data) come to those who wait.

How to use it

  1. Head to the Wait Times page from the menu, or tap “Check wait times” on the homepage.
  2. Choose your resort, then choose your park (shown above).
  3. Scroll the ride list for current waits, live status, Lightning Lane windows, and a Watch POV button on the rides we’ve got video for.
  4. Keep scrolling for today’s entertainment schedule.
  5. Ride’s closed? Tap Notify Me (free account) and we’ll do the waiting for you.
  6. Curious how long rides typically stay down? Scroll to the downtime history section. It automatically follows whichever park you were just checking above, though you’re free to pick a different one down there on its own.

We hope this makes your next trip a little less “there’s a snake in my boot” and a lot more “to infinity and beyond.” Happy travels!
