We stayed here in September 2026 before boarding the Disney Magic for our Disney Cruise Line Alaska cruise, and this room's huge bay windows look right out over Canada Place, its famous white sails, and Vancouver Harbour.

If you're planning an Alaska cruise from Vancouver on Disney Cruise Line or any other line sailing from Canada Place, like Princess, Holland America, Norwegian, Celebrity or Royal Caribbean, this is one of the most convenient hotels in the city. The cruise terminal is only a few minutes' walk from the lobby, and a covered walkway connects the hotel to Canada Place and the Vancouver Convention Centre.

CRUISE TIP: FREE LUGGAGE DELIVERY TO THE CRUISE TERMINAL
On the morning of our cruise, the Fairmont Waterfront Bell Team picked up our luggage right from our room and took it over to the Canada Place cruise terminal for us, completely free. No dragging suitcases across the street and no waiting in the bag drop line. We used it, and the staff was amazing. It means you can check out, grab breakfast and enjoy the waterfront before walking over to board your ship. The hotel also lists this luggage service as part of its Connect With Your Cruise offer, so ask about it when you book or check in.

GETTING THERE FROM YVR AIRPORT
The Canada Line SkyTrain runs from Vancouver International Airport (YVR) straight to Waterfront Station with no transfers in about 25 to 30 minutes, and the hotel is a short walk from the station. Waterfront Station is also where you catch the SeaBus to Lonsdale Quay and The Shipyards in North Vancouver. Gastown, the Coal Harbour seawall and Stanley Park are all within walking distance.
